Shoes for Ta Tas

So charity is good....shoes are better.

For the 2009 FFANY event I treated myself. Not sure that this qualifies as a true full price purchase. All of the shoes were donated and they were sold for half off. All of the proceeds go to breast cancer research. To continue to fuel my obsession with red shoes I just could not live without a new addition.

These will be showing up soon.

The BEST shoe website!

Wow is all I can say. I L-O-V-E great big heart this website. The browsing is super, the lay out is the best, and the prices are amazing and second to none.
Right now overnight shipping is free and they are giving a $5 discount.
I am a deal hound and I can find better prices anywhere and if you can they will beat it by 10%! The selection is incredible. I love that you can select all your favorite brands in the size you like and and they all show up in the same mix so you do not have to do 10 searches to look at your 10 favorite brands.
Go here, now!

SmurFJ II

We grudgingly took delivery last night of our second 2007 Toyota FJ. It is exactly the same as the one we had....but it has a passenger side arm rest added. I have nothing nice to say about Marietta Toyota. Once I am able to put words together other than "Eff them" I will tell you more. It pissed me off to give them one penny, let alone close to $30k. The Smurf is good. The fab hub and I no longer have to carpool. Hopefully this one will not be cursed.....

Theft by Taking

DSW is having a mother of a sale. Stop reading this and get your ass over there.
I love DSW for several reasons:
1. They have my favorite brands: Kenzie, BCBG, Jessica Simpson, Guess, Rocket Dog and many more.
2. The sale section is larger than most shoe stores.
3. The prices are unreal. Example: Tonight I scored a pair of Jessica Simpsons that are super soft leather with acrylic leopard heels for $18 that were just marked down 70% from $60. I think crappy shoes at Payless are more than that. I also picked up a killer kitten heel pair of shoes from Charles David for $21.
4. They play good music. One time I was in there and actually turned my iPod off.
Really, they just marked a crap load of shoes down. If you need shoes, want shoes, wear shoes or dream about shoes you need to go. I may make another trip without the fab hub cause, well you know....sometimes shoes just find their way into the house.

Trader Joe: I still heart you!

We went back for more. This time Chuck was there. 2 cases to start went home with us. The fab hub bought 1 beer that was $9. I pointed out that his 1 beer is worth 3 bottles of wine.
When we got to Joe's it was such a mess. I waited for 5 minutes to get a flippin' cart. Yeah, it is that good in there! I think the fire Marshall was tied up in the back. I saw a couple people shopping with Party City carts. Very funny. People doing what they have to do to get the wine.
Whatever. I got more sweet potato fries and snacks in general. Yummy.
Joe, I love you.

I am a Disney Princess

We were digging through Tuesday Morning last night and there I saw it. A cute little pink toaster with Cinderella on it and it puts the cutest little high heel shoe on your toast! How perfect: A shoe on your toast. You know I have become the shoe obsessed.....too bad I don't like toast.

I Heart Trader Joe's

We went to Trader Joe's tonight for grocery getting. I freakin' love that place. I have not been in some time. I think the last time I was in one was when I was in Cleveland for business 2 years ago. The selection. The prices. Oh, there is so much goodness in there. Joe just came to Atlanta. The store we went to is in Sandy Springs. We asked about 2 buck Chuck....they had a 2 month supply that sold out in 3 days......way to go Atlanta! I am being so good right now by not eating the gelato (Italian Chocolate) out of the container. It is still sealed in the freezer. However, the freeze dried pineapple is wonderful. I went in to Whole Foods for a few things as well and noted muffin tops in nice containers. You know, the top really is the best part of the muffin......

The Rules

1. Get there early and stand in line. Bring a hot drink. Do not squawk that it is cold or early.
2. Do not push or shove.
3. Know where you are going.
4. No kids.
5. No stollers.
6. No walking devices.
7. Have coupons ready and organized.
8. Take the bags back to the car so that you do not walk with Bag Girth.

I love the best shopping day of the year. I made out like a bandit at both Macy's and Parisian. I was there at 4:45am and left around 10:30am took a nap and then headed to the farm in Guyton. It was a good time.

Seen in Costco

Seen in the check out line in Costco:
The lines were long. I had 2 items. I waited. The crazy guy behind me and his wife wearing camouflage and kids were looking for the shortest line. They were in my line then moved to another line, then stopped to bitch about all the lines. A woman with a bag of coffee came behind us and puts her bag of coffee on the belt. Here comes camo family. He moves her bag back and begins to unload his very full cart. She asks what he is doing. He says he is taking his place back. She corrected him. They have a disagreement. I say that I saw her behind us when he left and agree she is next in line. They go back and forth and the check out girl took her as the next in line. He continues to complain. The fab hub tells the guy to calm down and reminds him that the lady has a bag of coffee. The guy is getting nastier by the second. This guy is too old to be a jerk in front of everyone at Costco over a lady just buying a bag of coffee. Isn't it courtesy to let someone with 1 item go in front of you when you have an over flowing cart?? Jackass....
